VERSATILITY
When wood flooring is installed in opposite directions in adjoining rooms, usually a T-molding is installed to transition between the rooms and sits above and overlaps the planks. Spline can be used in place of the T-molding, allowing the installer to reverse the direction of the planks, allowing the floor surface to be flush.
