Stair Treads

Combining quality, experience and the finest materials, Seneca’s SignatureEdge hardwood stair treads are unmatched in the industry. The treads are available in variety of styles, species and finishes. Visually, our treads are unique with solid edge-glued construction with only two to three glue lines per tread. For a personalized design style—choose from five stair tread edge options from the SignatureEdge design collection.

• Edge designs include bullnose, eased, square, chamfered and double chamfered (click on the tread photos below for additional information)
• Standard treads are a full 1-1/16″ thick, 11-1/2″ deep and in lengths from 36″ to 90″ in 6″ increments
• Some wood species may be unavailable to be used to manufacture 90″ treads or risers–contact customer service for more information
• Available prefinished, unfinished or in a variety of specialty finishes
• Hand-finished with a durable, water-based, phthalate-free formulated polyurethane topcoat finish
• Tread styles include straight, left or right single returns, and double returns
• Starter steps are available in right, left or double radius styles (starter steps are not available with double chamfered edges)
• Matching standard risers are 3/4″ thick, 7-1/2″ in height, and in lengths from 36″ to 90″ in 6″ increments; they can be purchased unfinished, primed or stained
